The freshest at the moment
News from Dansk Tang: Sugar kelp and Irish moss are absolutely fantastic right now.
The water’s still cold, which slows the growth a bit, but it means the sugar kelp is still small and crisp—and for a lot of people, that’s the way they like it best.
Good riddance winter
Winter was brutal, and we’ve spent loads of hours repairing and checking the lines. Luckily, most of the seaweed made it, and the ice mainly caused equipment damage.
Very soon we’ll be putting out lines with sea lettuce, trying to meet the demand a little earlier than the wild sea lettuce naturally appears.
